I recently put up on my Facebook page a link to some research about keeping Hydrated. Just a loss of 2% of your body weight in fluid can really impact your ability to perform. You want to train at your best, so stay hydrated! Here are a few tips to help you acheive better hydration
Monitor you weight before and after exercise to measure fluid loss
Monitor urine volume and color (clearer urine usually means better hydration) theres even aps for this!
Drink fluids before activity and during activity when exercising especially when its HOT!
Replace fluids after exercise
Eat foods with high water content (fruits and vegetables)
Consume fluids with meal
Use sport drinks if you are a heavy sweater and/or a salty sweater
